| Mary Elizabeth Louisa Rodney Carpenter was born on 1 January 1783. She was the daughter of George Carpenter and Mary Elizabeth. She married Thomas Bowes-Lyon, 11th Earl of Strathmore, son of John Bowes, 9th Earl of Strathmore and Mary Eleanor Bowes, on 25 March 1800. She died on 1 June 1811 at age 28 in Caldecote Hall, Warwickshire, England. | ||||||||||

| Thomas Bowes-Lyon, 11th Earl of Strathmore was born on 3 May 1773. He was the son of John Bowes, 9th Earl of Strathmore and Mary Eleanor Bowes. He married, firstly, Mary Elizabeth Louisa Rodney Carpenter, daughter of George Carpenter and Mary Elizabeth, on 25 March 1800. He married, secondly, Eliza Northcote, daughter of Colonel unknown Northcote, circa 1812. He married, thirdly, Marianna Cheape, daughter of John Cheape, on 8 December 1817. He died on 27 August 1846 at age 73. He was buried on 1 September 1846. Thomas Bowes-Lyon, 11th Earl of Strathmore gained the title of 11th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne.
